NestBridge is a family coordination app. Because it involves accounts, child profiles, and shared information, this policy is honest and specific about what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
✅ The Short Version
NestBridge collects only what is necessary to run the app. We collect account and profile information to provide the service. We do not sell your data, serve you ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your family's data belongs to your family.
📦 Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Phone number — used for authentication via one-time passcode (OTP). This is the only credential required to create an account.
- Profile information — name and other profile details you choose to enter for yourself or your children.
- Child profile data — information about your children that you add to the app (name, date of birth, and similar details). This data is entered by you as a parent or guardian, not collected directly from children.
- App usage and error data — crash reports and diagnostic data collected through Sentry, our error monitoring service. This data helps us fix bugs and improve stability. It may include device type, OS version, and anonymized app state at the time of a crash.
- App preferences — settings and preferences stored in connection with your account.
We do not collect location data, contact lists, camera or microphone access, or any information beyond what is listed above.
🎯 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve NestBridge:
- Authenticating your identity and maintaining your account session.
- Displaying and syncing your family profiles and shared data across your devices.
- Diagnosing and resolving app crashes and technical issues via Sentry.
- Responding to support requests you initiate.
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the operation of NestBridge.
👶 Children's Privacy
NestBridge is designed for use by adults (parents and guardians). The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Child profile data in the app is entered by a parent or guardian on behalf of their child. Parents are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information they add. If you believe child data has been submitted without proper parental consent, please contact us at privacy@nestbridge.app.
🤝 Third-Party Services
NestBridge uses a small number of third-party services that may receive limited data as part of their function:
- Stytch — our authentication provider. Your phone number is shared with Stytch to deliver one-time passcodes and manage your authentication session. Stytch's privacy policy is available at stytch.com/privacy.
- Sentry — our error monitoring service. Crash and diagnostic data is sent to Sentry to help us identify and fix bugs. Sentry's privacy policy is available at sentry.io/privacy.
- Google Cloud Platform — our cloud infrastructure provider. Your data is stored and processed on Google Cloud servers located in the United States. Google's data processing terms apply. See cloud.google.com/privacy.
We do not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or data brokers. These are the only third parties with access to any portion of your data.
🔐 Data Security
NestBridge uses industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS) for all data in transit and encrypted storage on Google Cloud infrastructure. Authentication is handled through Stytch using short-lived tokens — no passwords are ever stored.
No security system is perfect, but we take these responsibilities seriously and continuously evaluate our practices.
🗑️ Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@nestbridge.app. Upon request, we will delete your account, profile data, and child profile data from our systems. Diagnostic records retained in Sentry may persist briefly per their retention policy.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. For material changes that affect how we handle your data, we will notify you through the app. We will not reduce privacy protections without notice.
